After Brajčino had started its test run and power deliveries to the EVN network in May 2014, the procedure preceding the issuance of the operating license was completed on 21 October 2014.

Since that date, following the effective date of the Power Purchase Agreement, the power plant has been feeding renewable power into the grid under the “privileged producer” tariff.
